French fashion "Ateliers "...... Who is behind them?

well, to surprise of many it is not the french men or women as it used to be some years ago but instead designers from UK, Germany, Italy, US, etc. Does this mean a creativity crisis in France? NO! I don't think that would ever happen in a culture that is so rich in talent and wonderful ideas. My theory is that fashion has change, enlarge, grow, bringing development and 'new creators' together with it. Also (and as opposed to some years ago) there exists now 'Talent hunters' that go around the world making it possible for designers from abroad to reach jobs at the most recognized brands of the fashion industry.
For example, the leading designer of Louis Vuitton is the American Marc Jacobs, of Givenchy the Italian Riccardo Tisci, Ungaro has as a lead designer to the 24 year old Colombian Esteban Cortazar, Lanvin's designer is the Israeli Alber Elbaz who is responsible many of the red carpet looks worn by Nicole Kidman, Sofia Coppola, Natalie Portman, etc....... Even Chanel has the great Karl Lagerfeld who was born in Germany.
So yes, the great looks that we see on the runways now days are responsibility of many great creators from around the world. However Paris has, is and will always be Paris.
